state laws, curriculum options, schedules, record-keeping,
suggestions and warnings, support groups, and more!

Convention Registration Pricing

Early Bird Online Registration is now closed but you can still register for the convention! Registration at the door is $60.00 per couple. We look forward to seeing you there!

Onsite Registration opens at 1:30 PM on Thursday, April 24.

Early Bird Registration is $45.00 (which includes spouse) (or $40 with the membership discount–there’s a $5.00 discount for CAPE Members) or onsite registration is $60 which  includes 3 inspiring general sessions, 60 hours of fun, informative workshops to choose among, special times of worship, fellowship, prayer, encouragement, the ever-popular Used Curriculum Sale, and the option of 17 1/2 hours of homeschool shopping! What a deal! It’s the same price all weekend, so come early to get your money’s worth!

Ken Sandie


Ken Sande is the founder of Relational Wisdom 360 and Peacemaker Ministries. Trained as an engineer, lawyer, and mediator, Ken has conciliated hundreds of family, business, church, and legal conflicts, and now devotes himself to teaching people how to build productive and enduring relationships in the family, church, and workplace. He teaches internationally and is the author of numerous books, articles, and training resources, including The Peacemaker, which has been translated into fifteen languages. He is a Certified Christian Conciliator, an Editorial Advisor for Christianity Today, and an Emotional Intelligence Certified Instructor. He and his wife, Corlette, have two adult children and a grandson, and love to hike and ski in the mountains near their home in Billings, Montana.


Mark Hamby

Mark Hamby (M.S., M.Div., Th.M., D. Min. cand.) is founder and president of Lamplighter Ministries, which consists of Lamplighter PublishingLamplighter TheatreLamplighter GuildLamplighter Life-Transforming Seminars and Lamplighter Moments Daily Radio Broadcast. He lives in Northeastern Pennsylvania with his wife, Debbie. They have been married for 34 years and have three adult children who were homeschooled.

If you have ever heard Mark speak, you know that he loves to tell stories! If you have ever heard him on the radio, you have heard his passion for God and His Word. Interviewed on numerous national programs including Family Life Today with Dennis Rainey, Revive Our Hearts with Nancy Leigh DeMoss, and Moody Bible Network™ Prime Time America, Mark shares the miracle story of how Lamplighter was birthed and how Lamplighter stories have a redemptive influence around the world.


Rachael Carman picutre


Rachael Carman is a wife and mother, and she is passionate about both roles. She and Davis have been married twenty-five years, and they have been blessed with seven children ranging in age from 9 to 22. Her journey into homeschooling included a bumpy start, but she is grateful that God brought her to this place. She is thankful for the daily experience of His faithfulness and grace in this adventure of a lifetime.

Since 2002, Rachael has been on the board of North Carolinians for Home Education. A year later, she started Real Refreshment Retreats for homeschool moms. In 2005, she had the privilege of authoring a book for Focus on the Family entitled Soundbites from Heaven—What God Wants Us to Hear When We Talk to Our Kids.
