Children’s Program

Lkidz is the Children’s Ministry at Legacy Church.  It is a place where kids love to come week after week during all of our campus church services.  We know kids thrive when they are given age specific teaching that is both biblical and fun!  Thanks to our electronic check-in system, you the parent can also enjoy a safe and convenient way to check your children into class.  Our Vision is to show children how awesome God is and be a resource for parents so that their children will grow in the likeness of Christ.

This year Lkidz is putting together a children’s program for the Home School Convention.  Those parents who choose to utilize this program while attending the convention will be able to enjoy their time while knowing that their kids are safe and are being ministered to in an exciting, fun and loving environment.  Click Here to learn more!

Do you know a young family thinking about homeschooling?

Join CAPE so you can nominate them in 2015 for a POPs Pass!
The POPs Pass provides a couple with a full scholarship for convention registration.

Speakers

Jeff Myers

Dr. Jeff Myers is president of Summit Ministries, a highly respected worldview training program whose tens of thousands of graduates are making a difference in politics, law, academics, medicine, science, and business. In the last 20 years Dr. Myers has become one of America’s most respected authorities on youth leadership development. Focus on the Family founder James Dobson referred to him as “a very gifted and inspirational young leader.” Evangelist Josh McDowell called him “a man who is 100% sold out to preparing the next generation to reflect the character of Christ in the culture.” Through his appearances on Fox News and other media programs, Dr. Myers has become a fresh voice offering humor and insight from a Christian worldview. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree and teaches leadership courses through CollegePlus and Belhaven University. Jeff and his family live in Colorado.

 Carol Barnier

Carol Barnier is a fresh, fun and popular conference speaker who strives to have the wit of Erma Bombeck crossed with the depth of C.S. Lewis, but admits that most days, she only achieves a solid Lucy Ricardo with a bit of Bob the Tomato. This author of four books is a frequent guest commentator on Focus on the Family’s Weekend Magazine broadcast, contributor to many magazines (just won two awards by the Evangelical Press Association) and is a speaker to conferences nationwide. In addition, she’s a homeschooler of 20 years. Check her out at www.CarolBarnier.com
