2006 Convention will be April 20, 21 , 22
at Calvary of Albuquerque!

Past speakers have included nationwide leaders in the home school movement; inspirational experts in child training, education, and family support; and other speakers of interest to home educators.

Highlights of the convention include...

*CHILDREN and YOUTH  We love children, but are unable to allow them to attend the convention. The conference is designed for parent/teacher enrichment; therefore, we recommend that you begin early to make arrangements for your younger children. Dependent nursing babies will be admitted free.

Remember that sessions are being taped; sit near an exit and please step out if your baby becomes noisy.

There are enthusiastic baby-walkers among our volunteer staff, so if you would like a brief break, ask your workshop host or hostess to arrange it.

Since home schooling families are known for their togetherness, children 11 years and older may register as adults and attend with their parents. Let us be clear.  No children of attendees between the ages of nursing infant and 11 years of age may attend the convention.  We include one or two workshops of special interest to the young adults (11 and up only) attending, but our focus is serving parent educators.

WELCOME PASTORS and MISSIONARIES  We offer a complimentary Couple’s Pass for pastors and their wives.  Feel free to extend our invitation to your pastor. Please be clear when you register. Write “Pastor” in place of your registration amount and include any additional payments for children or grandparents, or other registration options. A space is provided for you to fill in the name of your church/ministry. The subscription discount is not applicable; it is applied only to paid first person registrants.

FACILITY RULE  NO food, NO drinks, and NO bottled water
Absolutely no food or drink or even water bottles are allowed inside the building other than for speakers, those with approved  medical exemptions, in the separate coffee shop (Solomon’s Porch), and during the Leaders’ Luncheon. This will be strictly enforced.  If necessary, you may  Request Medical Exemption to Carry Water Bottle.   Otherwise, water fountains are located throughout the buildings, and water jugs will be strategically stationed at exits.
