FALL FAMILY LEADERS RETREAT

September 10-12, 2010

This will be the 7th CAPE Fall Family Leadership Retreat. We try to design the weekend to balance fellowship, inspiration, information, fun, interaction and even a little relaxation! It is important to note that no one in the family is expected to be in a leadership position, either in a support group or on the state level. Our purpose is to encourage families to realize their leadership potential in their home and elsewhere. We are families encouraging families and we want to make sure every family has the information and encouragement they need to follow the Lord. We also want the opportunity to get acquainted, build friendships and learn how to serve you effectively.

You will meet Brian Ray, one of the most influential personalities in home schooling today, a respected researcher who has developed the most complete profile of home education statistics available, influenced legislation, and testified in both legislative hearings and in court. He will bring a wealth of knowledge, years of personal experience as a home school dad, a respected leader in the modern home school movement, and an anointed servant of the Lord. Come expecting to be blessed. His wife Betsy is warm and wise and great fun, too.

Kids and Teens!

There will be a program for all the children, running concurrently with the adult sessions. It is designed and supervised entirely by home schooled youth accountable to the CAPE Board, and is similar to an intensive weekend of Vacation Bible School. It will include music, lessons, crafts, interactive stories, games, and snacks. Teens are welcome to come and help with the children’s program or participate with their parents in the adult sessions.

The Room Rates are for the following Dorms:

Texas which has a Double Bed and Twin Bunk Beds per room

Chapparal which has two Queen Beds per room

Garden Small Dorm which has 10 twin beds ( 5 Bunks)

Meals included in the meal package would be Friday Dinner and Lunch and Dinner on Saturday. Additional meals can be added if you wish with a pricing as follows:

Adult 12 and up per meal prices:

Breakfast – $7       Lunch – $8.50          Dinner – $11

Children 6-11 per meal prices

Breakfast – $5       Lunch – $5.50           Dinner – $6.50
